Important news about shomi
shomi was created for people who appreciate great TV shows and movies, and was embraced by viewers all across the country who enjoyed it as much as we did – but ultimately, not in great enough numbers to sustain it. As a result, shomi will cease operations as of November 30th, 2016 and will no longer be offering streaming services.
Can I still subscribe to shomi?
Unfortunately, you can no longer subscribe to shomi as the service is being discontinued.
What will happen to my shomi subscription selected through my Rogers IgniteTM bundle, internet plan or Share Everything+ plan?
If you currently enjoy shomi with your Rogers IgniteTM bundle, internet plan or Share Everything+ plan, you can continue to enjoy watching shomi until the service is discontinued on November 30th, 2016. Rogers may send you additional information by mail, email, SMS or bill message.
I haven’t selected my free experience as part of my Share Everything+ plan yet. What are my options now that shomi is no longer available?

I currently pay a monthly fee for shomi. How does this impact my subscription?
You can continue to enjoy watching shomi until the service is discontinued on November 30th, 2016. Your subscription will be deactivated on November 30th, 2016 and you will no longer be charged for shomi going forward.
I haven’t used shomi for more than 90 days and my service was deactivated. With shomi being discontinued, can I still reactivate my service?
Unfortunately, shomi is not taking on any new subscribers and deactivated customers cannot reactivate their shomi accounts.
